Reverend Dr. P.L. Griffin
Reverend Dr. P.L Griffen has served as the presiding pastor of Sanders Creek for over 40 years, leading the church through its 150th anniversary in 2020. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he received his Associate and bachelor's in management. He is also a graduate of Andersonville Seminary (Camilla Georgia), where he earned his Doctorate degree in Theology.
Reverend Dr. Griffin, not only served as the Pastor of Sander's Creek, but he is also the Moderator for the Mt. Moriah Baptist Association. Where he ensures that all churches under the association is equipped with what they need.
Reverend Dr. Griffin is married to Charlotte Griffin and together they have two children. Reverend Dr. Griffin motto: Serving God will pay off in time".

Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings and continues until 10:00 am, followed by morning worship.

We’re passionate about providing opportunities that ignite creativity and showcase the incredible talents of our young singers. By blending high-level music education with real-world performance opportunities, Making Music Vocal Arts with the Sanders Creek Youth Ministry Team.
Adult Choir
The adult choir is a ministry that functions under the music, worship, and creative arts ministry and therefore has the same mission which is to glorify God, for God to speak to us, and to edify each other.
- Glorifying God – Worship is accomplished vertically upward, when we are talking to God
- God speaks to us – Worship is accomplished vertically downward, when God is talking to us
- Edifying each other – Worship is accomplished horizontal left-to-right, when we are edifying and encouraging each other
